George Lovera and Lisa Scepura have been educators for over 26 years. They share a passion for teaching as well as travel. In the fall of 2010, George had a crazy idea to combine his passions and lead a group of students to Italy during spring break. All he needed was someone equally passionate and a little crazy, too. That would be Lisa. Along the way they added Scott Dingman, who offers a whole different skill set, including peace keeper, but an equal amount of crazy. George, Lisa and Scott joined forces with Explorica for the 2021 tour.
That is how it started, and SIX trips later they have taken 157 middle school students abroad traveling by every form of transportation known to mankind through the ancient ruins of Rome, the incredibly beautiful medieval streets of Florence, and down the stunning Amalfi Coast to Sorrento and Capri.
