Mr. Lovera,
I hope all is well. I've recently been thinking a lot about all that the Italy trip did for me, and I wanted to thank you. I made my closest friends from that experience. It bonded us together more than I ever expected. When high school started, my friends really shifted but I kept my friendships with Taylor, Lindsey, Maddy, and Emma. We just started our junior year, and we are closer than ever. We always talk about how we want to go back to Italy together. The trip you started for us created my closest friendships, and I will always be grateful for that. I have so many great memories and can't wait for the chance to go back! We are all doing great. Taylor, Lindsey, and I all just got our licenses! And we are all starting to look at colleges. Thanks again for giving me the experience to create so many amazing memories and make lifelong friendships.

Thank you for taking us to Italy. It was such a fun time and thanks for teaching us how to bargain and showing us new foods. Everything was so great. My favorite part was taking pictures in the Sistine Chapel with Don Georgio. Also, biking in Florence was fun and let us experience so many sights and spending time with you guys outside of school. Mrs. Scepura is probably mad at my grammar or something. I can't really put in a letter how much I appreciate you guys watching after us. It was a wonderful trip and thanks for taking me.

Dear Italy Teachers,
There are many things I would like to say. This has been some of the happiest days of my life. If I was offered a chance to stay, without hesitation, I would agree. This trip proved to me that you can fall in love with a location, just as fast as falling in love with any person. If you are absolutely head-over-heels with a place and environment you emorse yourself in, the people there will follow on path to your heart. I have learned that eloquency and being able to carry an intellectual converstion are the most beautiful things a girl can have. These memories will be added to my represtior to cherish forever. The only moment you have the power to impact is the one year living now. This was a miracle handed to me and many other lives. I don't think I have laughed and craved to be, absolutely, present in the moment in a long time. It has felt amazing to be reborn again. Now, when I look in the mirror I will not see a little girl, anymore. I will see a young-adult with a little more experience. I'm so happy that all of you could be my family for our wonderful time here. I will miss this place and I know I will be back.

What you do for kids every year is amazing. You take them to one of the most beautiful places on Earth and let them experience things they could never learn in a classroom. But like all good things it must come to an end. After 11 days of touring Italy, or Italia, we must leave our bubble and go back to the real world and deal with real issues. It is sad and thinking about it sometimes makes us all want to cry, but this is the difference from Romeo and Juliet and our trip. Our story does not come to an end. We have our lives but we will always remember our Italy 2015 trip family.
