Our 7th Trip of a Lifetime to Italy!
APRIL 1-APRIL 11 2021!!!
Imagine….departing the US on an overnight flight and waking up in the Eternal City...ROMA! When you think Italy couldn’t be any more amazing than the city of the Caesars. You will visit the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, walking the same streets as the ancient Romans. A visit to the Vatican Museum will leave you inspired by the works of Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel and Le Pieta in St. Peter’s Basilica. You can visit Circus Maximus where the chariots raced, or enjoy an incredible meal in a café overlooking the Spanish Steps. But most importantly, don't forget to toss a coin in the Trevi Fountain ensuring your return to the Eternal City someday!
From the hustle and bustle of the big city of Rome, we head to the physical beauty of the Amalfi Coast. While on the Italian coast, we will explore the ancient ruins of Pompeii, take a fernicular up to the top of Capri and stroll the quaint street of Sorrento.
Our last stop in bella Italia is the medieval city of Florence, the regional capital of Tuscany. Your time will be spent visiting the magnificent Duomo, Michelangelo’s David, strolling over the Ponte Vechio, shopping in open-air markets, or just relaxing at a café enjoying the bounties of the Tuscan countryside. Florence is home of the Florentine steak and Chianti.
Experience the wonders of the Italy stress free by allowing EF Tours to worry about all the airline reservations, hotel accommodations, transfers, attraction reservations and tickets, and a multi-lingual tour guide that is with you 24/12. In addition, at your disposal will be three well-versed tour group leaders, George, Lisa, and Scott. The tour offers a balance of the highlights of each city as well as free time so you can get away from the group and explore on your own.
